As folks might know, during 2019, I was part of the first intake of the Masters of Applied Cybernetics at the 3A Institute at Australian National University – the #3AiFirstCohort.
As part of that challenging, immersive and multi-disciplinary experience, part of our assessment included building several cyber-physical systems. SenseBreast – a sensing mastectomy prosthetic, build using open hardware such as Raspberry Pi, was just one of those systems.
This talk documents the journey in developing SenseBreast, and the collaborations and technical heritage upon which it is founded.
